A Raw Food Diet For Dogs

A raw food diet for dogs consists of feeding your dog nothing but raw food. Some people consider this unsafe while many others swear by it. The idea behind it is that out in the wild dogs would eat nothing but raw foods and because of it their systems are built to get the nutrition they need to live a long healthy life from raw foods.

The other side of the argument is that because dogs no longer live in the wild they don't need raw food to get the nutrition they need and in fact could be harmed by eating raw food (food poisoning) because the raw food we feed them is not the same as they would get in the wild.

Either way you look at it is fine but the one thing to be aware of is that if you are going to feed your dog a raw food diet then you need to slightly cook the eggs and potato's before you give them to your dog.
